A B O U T

Alise Tipse is an illustrator and designer raised in Yorkshire, England and currently based in Vienna, Austria. Her work revolves around the wonderment and curiosity in forgotten folk tales and myths. She aspires to evoke a feeling of visual delight in the viewer of her illustrations and affix and celebrate the relationship between illustration and storytelling.

Until 2019 Alise worked as a freelance illustrator alongside studying at The Edinburgh College of Art. After finishing her studies Alise begun working as a full-time illustrator and designer at Zeuxis und Parrhasius GmbH where she illustrated wildlife, botanics and beasts. Alise works in ink pen or coloured pencil.
